Welcome to the Hill of Fiddes Windfarm Website.
Thank you for your interest in our wind farm. This website provides information on the Hill of Fiddes Windfarm (which is near Cultercullen, Aberdeenshire), background information on Broadview Energy, and general information about windpower generation.
Planning approval for the three turbine wind farm was granted by Aberdeenshire Council in April 2008. Civil works construction began in mid July 2009, and turbine components (Enercon E70) are planned to arrive on-site in late 2009. This is expected to result in full operation by early 2010.
We will keep this website updated as construction develops.
