About Broadview Energy
Broadview Energy Limited was established in 2003 by Peter Hughes and Jeffrey Corrigan, both former colleagues at PowerGen plc, to develop small to medium size wind projects in the UK. Based on their extensive experience in the conventional power sector they recognized the attractiveness of wind energy and its ability to generate clean, sustainable and reliable electricity.
Broadview Energy focuses on small projects, typically between two and ten turbines, as they provide greater flexibility in site selection, simpler grid connections, and less visual and other impacts than larger projects.
Broadview Energy identifies suitable sites, evaluates them and then takes them to the planning stage and then through to construction and operation.
The company currently has two projects under development - Hill of Fiddes in Aberdeenshire and Westnewton in Cumbria.
